The Ague Dulce Independent School District (ADISD) board of trustees announced the lone finalist for the district‘s superintendent, Richard Wright.

Wright is currently serving as principal at Falfurrias High School. His teaching experience started at Lamar ISD in Richmond at both B.F. Terry High School and Crockett Middle School. He advanced as principal at Patti Welder in Victoria in 2012, while previously holding administrative positions at Edna High School as both an assistant principal and principal, and at Louise Secondary School as principal.

He graduated from The University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, and continued his education at The University of Houston-Victoria for a Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision.

The board will vote on the district‘s lone finalist for superintendent on Feb. 25. Wright has 21 days after the board’s approval before he officially becomes the superintendent.
