Grow Local South Texas is planting seeds of change in 2020 and growing outreach and impact efforts in the Texas Coastal Bend. Join us April 19 for a market-style, locally-sourced dinner and fundraising gala to support these important efforts towards growing a healthy, local community.


The 8th Annual Farm to Table Dinner is Grow Local South Texas’ largest fundraiser of 2020, directly supporting the programs making a difference in improving access to, education about, and advocacy for affordable, nutrient dense foods.


This year’s event will kick off with a beautifully designed cocktail hour at The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center, featuring local brews from Lazy Beach Brewery and Texas wines. A locally-sourced, market-style dinner under the Rose Pavilion will follow. Our partners at the Texas Chef’s Association, Chefs of the Coastal Bend Chapter, will prepare fresh, local culinary delights at live action cooking stations. Highlighting the wide range of delicious delicacies that the local food system can provide, the ingredients for the dinner will be sourced within a 200-mile radius of Corpus Christi, TX.


Come out to meet the farmers working hard to bring fresh, affordable nutrient dense food to the Coastal Bend with cooking stations that highlight their hard work and inspiring stories. The night’s music will be provided by Sierra Dawn, one of Corpus Christi’s youngest and most talented singer/songwriters.

Grow Local South Texas’ 8th Annual Farm to Table Dinner & Fundraiser is both a celebration of and support for everything Grow Local South Texas represents: creating a robust local food system, expanding access to nutrient dense foods, supporting local food producers, and enriching the lives of the community’s youth through garden, cooking and nutrition education.
