The Robstown Police Department is asking for the public's help in tracking down the individual or individuals responsible for an attack that occurred earlier this month.
According to Robstown Police Department reports, officers were called to the 400 block of Iowa Street shortly before 2 p.m. on Nov. 10, in reference to a man down.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a Robstown man, later identified as Juan Jose "Johnny" De Los Santos, 50, lying face down near a curb. De Los Santos had been severely injured, according to police reports.
Robstown EMS transported De Los Santos by ambulance to Christus Spohn Memorial hospital in Corpus Christi, where he remained in the Intensive Care Unit in "guarded" condition Tuesday.
An investigation into the assault is ongoing by the Robstown Police Department.
