Reagan Amethyst Pillack and Thomas Wayne Ivey were united in marriage Aug. 6 at the Woodville United Methodist Church in Woodville.
The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Tommy Williams of Houston, with special prayers delivered by Reverend Brian Harkness of Woodville. Music was provided by Michael Nichols, cousin of the bride, of Corinth on the piano. On soprano saxophone was Jim Boone of Woodville.
The reader was Debbie Engle, sister of the groom, of Van Horn. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Event Center in Jasper.
The bride is the daughter of Roy and Penny Pillack of Agua Dulce.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Jean Ivey of Clint.
The bride wore a dress from the Maggie Sottero Designs Collection. The white and pewter accented gown featured a slim a-line skirt with a corset closure. Glistening metallic lace embellished the romantic design. A Valencia organza wide band and scalloped edging gracing the hemline enhanced the dress.
Tanya Waiser Staude, cousin of the bride, of College Station, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Aubrey Hall Strickland of Dickinson; Shannon Hengst Meadors, cousin of the bride, of Rockdale; and Lauren Ivey Wilson, daughter of the groom, of Stephenville. The flower girl was Kinley Meadors of Rockdale.
Dustin Ivey, son of the groom, of Woodville, served as best man. Groomsmen were Robby Newton, cousin of the groom, of Sequim, Wash.; Steve Wolf of Coahoma County, Miss.; and Justin Wilson, son-in-law of the groom, of Stephenville.
Ringbearers were Fritz Sauer of Whitney and Mason Staude of College Station, both godsons of the bride.
Ushers were J.B. Engle and Chad Engle, both nephews of the groom, of Van Horn; John Paul Cockerell of Stephenville, godson of the groom; and Cory Maxwell of Woodville.
Members of the house party included Roschelle Springfield, Gretchen Sauer, Dixie Weathersby Owen, Denise Strait, Sherry Weathersby, Laren Allen and Mary Maxwell.
The bride received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Development and a Masterís of Education at Texas A&M University and is currently an Agriculture Science Teacher for the Woodville Independent School District.
The groom received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education at Tarleton State University and a Masterís of Education at Stephen F. Austin State University. He is currently serving as principal at Woodville Middle School.
The couple honeymooned in Napa Valley, Calif., and now reside in Woodville.
