Texas A&M University-College Station recently released its list of honor students for the summer semester, recognizing them for outstanding academic performance.

Kate Lambert, of Robstown, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll. She is working on earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Colby Morris, also of Robstown, earned the "Distinguished Student" designation. He is a junior working to complete his Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering.

The Dean's Honor Roll recognizes students taking at least 15 semester hours during the fall semester who have maintained a 3.75 or higher grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

The second designation, "Distinguished Student," recognizes those who earned a 3.5 to 3.74 GPR while taking at least 15 hours for the fall semester.

Diplomas were awarded to approximately 3,500 Texas A&M University-College Station graduates during recent fall commencement ceremonies.

Among those receiving degrees were the following three Robstown natives:

Jessica Cooper, Master of Science Degree in Plant Breeding, Cum Laude Genesis Elizondo, Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology Katherine Harris, Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
