Santos "Bebe" Bryant Sanchez Jr., 79, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007.
He was born in Cuero on Oct. 14, 1928, to Santos and Francisca Bryant Sanchez. He was an auto painter for 25 years having worked for Jennings Chevrolet and Robstown Paint and Body Shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Francisca Sancehz Sr.; his sister, Guadalupe Rubio; his brother-in-law, Domingo Rubio; his grandson, Marcos Medina; and his great grandson, Junior Chapa.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Consuelo Sanchez of Robstown; four daughters, Norma (Gilbert) Trejo, Martha (Ruben) Medina, both of Robstown, Gracie (Francisco) Roldan of Flour Bluff, and Delia (Johnny) Hernandez of Corpus Christi; two sons, Michael Sanchez of Robstown, and Santos (Criselda) Sanchez III of Calallen; two brothers, Benito (Elizabeth) Sanchez of Robstown, and Raymond (Mary) Sanchez of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Josefa (the late Ricardo) Rodriguez of Kingsville, and Olga (Pedro) Huape of Robstown; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 13 and 14, in the Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial followed in Robstown Memorial Park.
