The Robstown High School Alumni Football Team will be facing a familiar rival this weekend as the Tuloso-Midway Alumni team makes its way to town.

The two teams will be playing to raise money for academic scholarships that will benefit students in their respective school districts. The RHS Alumni have an Athletic/Academic Scholarship, while the Tuloso-Midway Alumni will be raising money for a scholarship founded in memory of the late Ryan Lekosky.

Many of the alumni playing in Saturday's game played against each other years ago, when both schools were in District 31-4A. Robstown has since been downgraded to a 3A school district, but T-M has remained in Class 4A.

"It's an old rivalry, so we know it's going to be a good game," RHS alum Arturo Gonzalez said.

The game will be played Saturday at Cotton Picker Field, beginning at 7 p.m.

Admission is $5 at the gate, with kids ages 4 and under getting in free.
