DaBaby reschedules Corpus Christi show for spring break 2021 due to COVID-19
DaBaby fans are going to have to wait another year to see the rapper perform live in Corpus Christi.
Concrete Street Amphitheater announced Wednesday in a Facebook post the entertainment venue and DaBaby's management made the call to cancel the July 24 concert as coronavirus cases and deaths continue to spike in the area.
The event will be rescheduled for spring break 2021.
In March, the concert venue and DaBaby canceled his spring break 2020 concert due to a county order on large gatherings. The concert was rescheduled for July 24.
"This difficult decision was made to protect the integrity of what a DaBaby concert should feel like as well as to prioritize the health and safety of our patrons, vendors, staff and the citizens of Corpus Christi," the post said.
The post said the next show will be "bigger and better." The exact date of the rescheduled concert will be announced in the next few days.
Those who purchased a ticket for the July show will have their ticket honored at the 2021 concert.
Requests for additional information on the rescheduled date or refund information should be made by phone or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
